Cuppa Jo & Cafe Topiary – Epping

I caught up with two best friends over lunch after church today, we went to two cafes for all day brekkie and Campos coffee.

First stop, Cuppa Jo at the Genesis building in Epping. As the cafe is currently owned by a Korean chef & his wife, the all day breakfast menu incorporated some Korean flavours such as Bulgogi (Korean-style beef) bruchetta & Bulgogi Quesadilla.

  • Fi ordered Smoked Salmon Scrambled Eggs with Focaccia Bread & mixed salad ($11.50)
  • Shuvah ordered Bulgogi Quesadilla & mixed salad ($11.50)
  • I ordered Salmon Hash with Poached Egg and Hollandaise sauce & mixed salad ($12)

I don’t usually enjoy all day breakfast meals, but I was surprised that all three dishes looked & tasted good. Out of the three dishes, I most enjoyed the Salmon Hash which was basically smoked salmon mixed into a hash brown served with delicious hollandaise sauce & a poached egg.

Cuppa Jo provided a comfortable place to chat & eat our lunch, the menu prices are relatively cheaper compared to other cafes that offer similar dishes.

After lunch, we walked over to Cafe Topiary and enjoyed our dose of Campos Coffee – we ordered a cap and two lattes ($3.50 each).
