For many brides, the closer their big day- the more they keep tabs on what they eat. This wasn’t the case for my friend Jazz who decided to have an all-you-can-eat buffet with her girlfriends at Cafe Opera (Inter Continental Hotel Sydney) a week before her wedding.
Cafe Opera offered a sumptuous lunch buffet. The Soup of the Day was not your regular soup but instead it was a Lobster Bisque. The carvery was not your traditional roast but a Slow Cooked Wagyu Beef Roast.
In terms of fresh seafood, Cafe Opera offered Green Lipped Mussels, Tiger Prawns, Blue Swimmer Crabs and Sydney Rock Oysters. Though the girls made multiple trips for seafood (especially Jazz’s mum who had at least three plates of oysters!) we all left room for the range of desserts and cheese selection.
Oh, did I mention that we only paid $60? Yes. $60 for a lush buffet in a private room with great service in the spectacular 19th Century building.
Needless to say, Cafe Opera knows how to impress with its classy seafood lunch buffet.
Lastly… beautiful Jazz, you have been the most relaxed bride-to-be. I can’t wait to see you & Nathan exchange your vows tomorrow! May God bless your marriage, may you & Nathan grow in your love for God and for each other through the ups and downs of married life.
