Tim Ho Wan, the world’s cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant is now on our doorstep in Chatswood, Sydney! Serving yum cha from 10am to 9pm everyday, a bunch of friends and I were on holidays/lunch break and started waiting at 10.30am on a Friday. The queue was looooooooong and got even longer as time went on… Continue reading
With the tea name of Pu’er, this chic Waterloo eatery not only serves Chinese food with a Western flair, it is also a tea house with an extensive tea collection imported from China.
Located on Glebe Point Road, Brewristas is for all the coffee lovers out there, these guys are serious about their beans! Being a Sydneysider, I love my coffee but I’m gonna admit that I’m a bit of a noob because I tend to stick with my flat whites, cappuccinos and lattes. I have been keen to check this place out for sometime now, since hearing about it from my friends W&S who knows one of the owners. Continue reading
Peter and I recently had the privilege of being part of the 5th anniversary celebrations of The Tall Lemongrass in Crows Nest. This modern Thai restaurant is run by Chef and Owner, Wendy Khouphongsy.

The Tuckshop is a cool suburban cafe located not too far from where I used to go to school, they are an offshoot by the guys who brought us The Baron in Castle Hill. Continue reading
I’ve been craving a cronut since I first heard about the craze in NYC… so I’ve been wanting to visit Brewtown for a while as they are one of the few (but growing) places offering cronuts in Sydney at the moment. If you’re unfamiliar with “cronut” it’s basically a crossover between a croissant and a donut that was created by chef Dominique Ansel. The Cronut became a popular phenomenon and TIME magazine even named the pastry as one of “The 25 Best Inventions of the Year 2013”! Continue reading
I popped into Mooberry in Neutral Bay a fortnight ago for an afternoon of chocolate indulgence. Unlike most places that sell frozen yoghurt (aka froyo), Mooberry is a dessert and breakfast bar.
Upon entering the Military Road shop front, it was clear that the three-storey venue with funky décor is a cool and relaxing place to hang out. Continue reading
I was recently invited to The Village in Potts Point to taste their new Ladies Lunch package, it was a pleasure to attend this event with my mum.
Upon entering The Village, we were greeted by a friendly waitress who led us to our table in the open and relaxing dining area which overlooked the courtyard and bar. Once seated, we were offered a glass of bubbly and two small plates of olives and mixed nuts to share. Continue reading
